The American community in Romania celebrated Election Night at Howard Johnson...
On the night between 4 – 5 November 2008, the US Embassy organised Election Night Watch at the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza.
The US community in Romania, as well as all the media and other important VIPs were invited to Iridium Grand Ballroom to watch the live broadcast on CNN and to take part in the celebration.
The highlights of the night were the speeches of the officials of the US Embassy, the four marching bands and, of course, the announcement of the official results in the early morning.
