For the first time since its opening, Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel Bucharest invites his guests to spend winter holidays here, launching special offers both for their companies' Christmas parties and for New Year's Eve parties. The hotel will be decorated in the Christmas spirit, with a minimalist, modern and innovative style, the same as the hotel's interior design, and the guests accommodated for this period in the hotel will be able to listen to live music specific to winter holidays.

For Christmas parties, the hotel offers to his guests the Platinum Grand Ballroom( with a maximum 300 -person capacity for cocktail and 160-person capacity for sitting buffet), Arizona and Colorado meeting rooms (maximum 100-person capacity for cocktail) as well as the Avalon restaurant.

"We are ready to organize our customers' company parties from A to Z - shows, catering, decorations, presents, meeting rooms and accommodation, so that organization of this year-end party to no longer be a chore for company employees appointed to organize this event", says Sonia Nastase, the hotel's Sales and Marketing Director.

For Christmas (25-26 December), the prices are 75 Euro, both for single and for a double room. For the Home Office rooms, the prices are 105 Euro for a single room and 121 Euro for a double room, while for suites cost 140 Euro. The prices are inclusive of breakfast, access to the fitness club and sauna, but are exclusive of taxes (10%).

For New Year's Eve, Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel will organize parties in the Platinum Grand Ballroom and in the two restaurants - Benihana and Avalon, according to the same concept: Platinum Party. "We have designed a consistent New Year's Eve party promotion concept, counting on innovation: that of having the New Year's Eve party organized in a new location, but also the innovation we bring, as a hotel, in the Romanian hospitality industry. We want to turn a New Year's Eve party spent at Howard Johnson Grand Plaza into a brand, rather than a theme party", says Sonia Nastase, the hotel's Sales and Marketing Director.

Platinum Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a space ship in which the guests will be embarked at the arrival (20.00 o'clock) and they will travel to a planet of entertainment, of innovation and creativity. The pilot has took from the Earth the most precious things besides the guests: the artists. Tough selections took place and till the end succeeded the actor Silviu Biris (the host of the entire trip), Loredana, the stand-up comedy troupe DeKo and the dancers troupe lead by Roxana Colceag, which will learn our guests a special dance called "Platinum". Our guests will practice their signatures "in big scale" and they will be the first photographers because they are very special: the first guests of the new planet. All will sing and dance on the Platinum Discs (the most recognized and most appreciate on Earth) and will be served with the finest dishes.

A gala dinner will be organized in Platinum Grand Ballroom, with a special set menu and with a program from which the fun will doesn't be missing. The ballroom can accommodate 160 persons and the price per person will be EUR 150, VAT included. The price includes the show, five courses and the drinks packet (welcome drink, one bottle of wine per person, coffee and water).

The Avalon and Benihana restaurants organize a joint party with a choice Euro-Asian buffet, prepared at teppan tables, in the contemporary style of the Avalon restaurant's kitchen. A famous DJ will mix music from all the continents and the comedians troupe DeKo will entertain the guests.

The price per person for this party is EUR 200, drinks and taxes included.

The tariffs for rooms at Howard Johnson Grand Plaza in this period vary with the guests' participation to the New Year's Eve parties organized by hotel. Thus, guests who spend the New Year's Eve party in the hotel, they benefit from the tariffs established for the Christmas period and for those who don't spend the New Year at Howard Johnson Grand Plaza, the tariffs for accommodation are 99 Euro/single, 129/145 Euro both for double and Home Office and 164 Euro for suite.

Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel is the newest five-star hotel opened in Bucharest. The hotel has an accommodation capacity of 285 rooms and a conference center called Grand Plaza Conference Center, two high-class restaurants - Benihana and Avalon, a bar - Centro Bar&Lounge, a health club, Fit Club and guarded underground parking with 80 seats capacity.
